Extended hours access

Manchester Primary Care Patnership

The practice, working in collaboration with Manchester Extended Access, is pleased to offer access to GP, nurse and HCA appointments during the evenings and at the weekends.

To book appointments simply ask the receptionist who will arrange an appointment at a time and location that suits you best. This may not be at your usual practice, but the GP or Health Care Professional who sees you will have access to your medical record and can issue prescriptions if required and deal with other matters appropriately should the need arise.

When we are closed

It is important that your Primary Healthcare Needs are looked after 24 hours per day. If you need to contact us outside the surgery timings, please call 0161 962 1332 or fill out a NON URGENT triage form on our website. Alternatively, to see a GP outside the practice Opening Hours Please dial 111. Triage clinicians will be able to offer you advice or an appointment at their surgery at Wythenshawe university hospital.

NHS 111

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

‘Right Service, Right Time, Right Place’

A&E IS FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY Please use YOUR GP practice as your FIRST POINT of Contact.

‘Unscheduled health care is for those patients who need treatment which is not planned in advance. For serious injuries and illnesses, such as a stroke or a heart attack, patients should go to the Accident and Emergency department. For other health care complaints, such as minor injuries or ailments, patients should consult their GP PRACTICE or visit their local pharmacy for expert health advice’

Please book online or speak to a member of the team to make an appointment.
